Hailing from Arkansas, one sophomore is extremely determined to revolutionize Wagner’s soccer team. His motto is simple: “I think we could win if we change, not our work ethics, but our mentality.”
Corey Key has been playing soccer for eleven years, so he’s confident in his abilities -- he believes he’ll make it on varsity. “I haven’t seen the team play, but I think I’m pretty good,” Key said. "It’s all about confidence and practice".
Key plays at the park at Winnfield, which is right next to Wagner, so naturally students see him and advise him to try out for the school’s team.
Key plans to show up bright and early to soccer tryouts with one thing in mind: making the team. If you believe that the soccer team could use your talents, join him for tryouts Dec. 4-5 at 7 a.m. for the boys and 4:30 pm for the girls. So everyone get your cleats out, and your game faces on: soccer season is here!
